so i've been slacking a bit....on everything! thanks to my butt-dragging on my anthropology paper, i had to miss the party tonight...which pisses me off, cause i really wanted to go. instead, i got to stay home tonight, after a long day, and work in this friggin paper. i better get a decent grade at least after all my sacrifices lol....damn priorities.

i had my first full shift of work today! was there at 5 after 8 this morning, since i'd already trained the day before and i didn't have a key yet anyway...i think i'm gonna like this job, just wish i had more hours...alas, a search for a weekly job will start ASAP. i need to start amassing 'new car' and 'move out' money. april will be here before i know it. but at least i know i'll have a paycheck waiting for me in the beginning of january...YAY! it really feels good to be working again, i must say.

still gonna go see alexakis play sunday at the aladdin...i can't wait! plus, you can't beat free tickets! :D

BTW...how much fun is Powell's Books? :)

well, seems that i'll be going to see art alexakis sunday at the aladdin theater, thanks to my pal tara getting me some free tix! :D my friend amber is gonna go with (hopefully we won't be hung over from the party on saturday night), so that should be fun. i need to find out where the aladdin is exactly though lol. that always helps!

you know, most people are having a relaxing 4 day weekend...me? i get to help cook dinner, write 2 papers, prepare a presenation, go to a party, go to a concert, go to an alumni tournament to watch my fam, and get trained for my new job...yeah...relaxing! :P i can't wait though, to be honest...FUN TIMES! :)

on another note...HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOM AND DAD! 24 years as of Nov. 25th

bleh...so i had to go for a checkup and was informed i need to have blood drawn next week. i HATE needles. HATE HATE HATE them. not looking forward to this at all.

so my friend put the moves on her hot bouncer...and it went well! with any luck, maybe they'll become an item :D

so i got offered a job! :D :D :D it's part time, but it's close by, so less wear and tear on my car, AND i can try to find another part time one during the week as well, so i can save one check for a new car and use the other for gas, etc. WOOHOO!

all in all a pretty good day i'd say...minus the needle bit...bleh! :)

DAMN I'M GOOD! i wished it would snow yesterday, and BLAMMO! it's everywhere ya go! only bad thing is i had to turn back on the way in to school...after almost getting hit 3 times, i figured it was an omen...

joy o joy...i get to write 2 papers for my classes over the next couple weeks...i guess i should start, huh? hehe

well, i'm officially sick of being broke, so i've been out hitting the pavement looking for work, seasonal or other. if i can find something decent, i'll be moving out in april/may...WOOHOO! i have a roomy all lined up, so once i get the job, i'm good!

on another good note, not only did i kick bum on my anthropology exam (46/50), but i looked into it, and i might be finished with school, with a PhD, in 4 1/2 years! CHA-CHING! :)

woohoo! party on Nov 29th...gonna go get lei'd Hawaiian style at Bush's party...trying to convince him to roast a pig on a spit in the driveway haha...i smell mixed drinks! BUST OUT THE PITCHER!! :D

BLAH! however it's humanly possible, i spent my day yesterday cramming 200+ pages of psychology text into my brain for a midterm i took this morning. nothing like taking a test on 3 hours of sleep! yippee! my brain is currently in wind down mode, so if i stop making sense, just go with it...

ok, so it snowed yesterday morning and it was ridiculously icy this morning...what happened to all the nice warm weather? oh well...maybe this means we'll have a white christmas! :) i'm just glad it hapened later in the school term, so i wasn't battling the ice all 10 or 11 weeks...bleh

went to yet another hallowen party, although this one was a lil different; much more family oriented...i rocked at scattergories! :) always a good time around the people who threw the party though, and i always enjoy hanging out with them. on to thanksgiving!

tomorrow begins my effort to start using the nordictrack again...it sucks, but is way more effective than most other things i do/use, so we'll see. i could end up thinner yet :P

i've decided to start a lil list of all the odds and ends i want to get at some point in my life...not big things necessarily, but items that are interesting to me....first on my list is a book of the Grimm Brother's fairytales...the original ones, not the 'kiddy version' ones. gotta go with the original :)
